THE MINUTES OF FRANT PARISH COUNCIL PLANNING MEETING
HELD AT FRANT MEMORIAL HALL ON MONDAY 2 June 2008 AT 19:30

Present: Councillors Crookshank (Chairman), Gray, Hall, Harris, Hewes, Rowland and Scarborough.

1.             TO RECEIVE APOLOGIES AND REASON FOR ABSENCE
Apologies received from Cllrs. Mrs Howell and Mrs Myers; reasons noted and accepted.

4.             TO MAKE RECOMMENDATIONS ABOUT PLANNING APPLICATIONS RECEIVED
It was resolved to respond to the planning application as follows:
WD/2008/1254/F – widening of existing access onto Bunny Lane and creation of larger turning head within the site.
Frant Parish Council supports this application which will improve the safety of this access onto Bunny Lane.

WD/2008/1299/F Stubbygrove Works, Bells Yew Green – removal of existing building and erection of workshop with alteration to ridge height and elevations being amended to approval WD/2006/1123/F and associated parking.
No objection.

WD/2008/1074/FA – Staircase Villa, Eridge Green – internal alterations and rear two storey extension – variation of condition 3 of WD/2007/1051/F
No objection.

5.             To note decisions from Wealden District Council.
The following application has been approved:
WD/2008/0394/LB – resiting of cloakroom

6.             To receive report from District Councillor
None.

Other planning matters
Notification from WDC that pedestrian crossing was deleted Section 106 Agreement for the former Rawsons site.
