Eridge Cricket Club continues to punch above its weight in a strong village cricket area and is always on the lookout for new members. Whilst cricketing ability is obviously desired, we would welcome anyone to our club who wishes to enjoy some friendly afternoons in excellent company either as a player or a spectator. The only requirement is a keen sense of humour!
The Isle of Wight tour continues to be a great success and the 2014 visit brought another undefeated four games with wins against Arreton, Porchfield and Ryde and a draw with Westover. The club survives on healthy relationships with the opposition, highlighted by return fixturse enjoyed by Porchfield and Arreton in their mainland tours in recent years.
The ground can be found a short distance within Eridge Park, where the Club has enjoyed most welcome patronage from successive Marquesses of Abergavenny. The picturesque ground is continually looked after by a team of dedicated members and visitors have had only kind words to describe it; so do feel free to pop in and see us next summer.
